Snehapriya Rao, Program Manager

Snehapriya Rao is a graduate student at the Hindu University of America in the Hindu Studies Program and a proud Hindu American Amma. With a background in engineering, she approaches the world with a blend of logic and intuition. However, motherhood profoundly reshaped her perspective, deepening her understanding of human relationships, personal growth, and the role of spirituality in daily life. Balancing tradition and modernity as a mother in the Hindu-American diaspora has given her a unique lens through which she explores identity, faith, and cultural continuity.

Through her studies, Sneha delves into the philosophical and cultural traditions of Sanatana Dharma, seeking to make its wisdom accessible and meaningful in today’s fast-changing world. She is passionate about helping the Hindu-American community connect with its roots in a way that feels both authentic and practical. Whether it’s understanding ancient texts in a contemporary context, applying Hindu spiritual practices to daily life, or navigating the challenges of preserving cultural identity across generations, she hopes to bridge the gap between tradition and modernity.

Sneha believes that Sanatana Dharma offers timeless insights that can guide individuals on their journeys. Through her work, she aims to foster meaningful conversations that bring together diverse perspectives, helping people find deeper connections to their heritage while making sense of life in the modern world.
